The Haryana Police Agniveer reservation is 20% for constables. It comes with civil-post seats, business loans and a hiring subsidy for employers. Here is the full picture.

From 10% to 20%: how the quota grew

In July 2024, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced a 10% horizontal reservation for Agniveers in constable, mining guard, forest guard, jail warden and special police officer posts, as the PTI report shows. In April 2025 he said Agniveers would get 20% in state police recruitment, as The Tribune reported. The state cabinet then raised the police share from 10% to 20%.

An August 2025 order from the Human Resources Department, as reported by India Employment News, set the shares by post group.

Age relief and tests

The July 2024 announcement gave 3 years of age relaxation in Group C and D posts, and 5 years for the first batch. The August 2025 order also exempts ex-Agniveers from the Physical Screening Test (PST) for constable, forest guard, warden and mining guard posts. Money support

• Interest-free loans of up to Rs. 5 lakh for ex-Agniveers who start a business, as announced in 2024.
• A yearly subsidy of Rs. 60,000 to a unit that hires an Agniveer at more than Rs. 30,000 a month.
• Priority for arms licences, as announced in 2024.

2. Open the eligibility section and find the Ex-Agniveer share and age rule.
3. Keep your discharge certificate, service record and character certificate ready.
4. Scan all documents in advance.
